Academic Program
The program offers liberal arts courses across several disciplines including Spanish language and literature, art history, business, communication studies, history, political science and more. All students are required to enroll in one Spanish language course and one travel study course instructed in Spanish. The latter, offers students an academic and culturally intense opportunity to travel throughout Spain with area specialists. All international studies students are required to take a minimum of 15 units while abroad. It is not recommended for Madrid participants to exceed this requirement. The courses offered through this program are USD courses and earn USD credit. There is no need to transfer credit between institutions.
